What to Expect from Clear Rayz

We recently have been receiving questions about what you can expect from your Clear Rayz device. We thought that this was a great question and wanted to share with all of you! Regular use of our Clear Rayz light therapy device, going by the recommended schedule, you should see improvement of acne within the first 2 weeks! Don't stop though! Continued use will greatly reduce future breakouts and eventually minimize current acne. After several weeks your breakouts should subside and be less of a concern. Even when your acne clears up remember to use your device 1-2 times a week for prevention of new breakouts. Early prevention will minimize scarring that often remains as a reminder of acne.

How quickly will I see results?

 This week I learned the importance of diligence, as I was not when it came to my skin care. So far my routine has been 5 days of light therapy, 2 days for my skin to rest.  Three consecutive days with the blue light of the Clear Rayz, rest day, two consecutive days with the Baby Quasar Plus red light, followed by a rest day. This strategy seems to help prevent breakouts while also helps diminish the wrinkles around my eyes and lips and age spots from my hand and arm. This week I only did 3 days resulting in breakouts on both sides of my face and chin.  The good news, now I know the lights really do have an affect and I'm back on track!

"I heard about the Clear Rayz through my wife who uses the Baby Blue. It had great results for her so I was excited when I got the chance to test out the Clear Rayz device. I have very oily skin, my cystic acne was really bad in high school. I had to take two rounds of Accutane it was so bad. I still get break outs but not as bad as it was in high school.  I mostly get black heads around my hair line and acne on my neck and face. I have been using the Clear Rayz on my neck too and I have been using it for a week. My first reaction is that I like it, its not hard and something I can see myself using alot. The device does get a little hot for me but I just take breaks in between sections if it bothers me. You do four sections of your face, the red light has 7 minute intervals and the blue light has 5. I prefer the red light to the blue. I read online that the red light can help with acne scarring which I have a lot of from my cystic acne in high school. I hope the red light can help diminish the appearance of my acne scars. You can feel the effects of the lights for quite a while after using them, its almost as if you can feel it working. I am hoping by next week I will see some significant improvement in my acne. See you next week."

"I've had my Clear Rayz and Baby Quasar Plus for over two weeks and they are definitely changing my skin!

Wow we are so happy to be sharing this experience with all of you! Its so incredible to see her skin transforming into clean clear and skin. Now this is what we call one happy gal!  "So here is my progress at week 6. I have placed my week 1 photo next to my week 6 current photo. I am sooooo happy with my progress. "is it necessary to move the clear rayz? or could I hold it still for similar results (for 5 min on cheek, nose, forehead, etc)? thanks! I don't really like move it around, but love the price and technology"

Thank you for your question, you always want to move your device in a circular motion. Use on clean dry skin, then place the device directly on your skin,  after 3 minutes it will beep and that means it is time to move it to an other part of your skin. The whole treatment takes a total of 21 minutes per session!

A's Back with her Week 5 review!

"I am late in posting my update on the battle against my skin. Almost 2 weeks ago I began suffering with a(n) UTI coupled with kidney stones. I share this info with readers for two reasons, the first is I did take antibiotics and that does typically have a positive effect on my skin. Secondly, I always get really bad breakouts when I have UTI's and usually a fever blister on my nose. (Cuz UTI's and breakouts aren't enough to deal with). Soon after getting the UTI, I began feeling pain around my jawline, right under my skin and my nose started to itch and burn. Recognizing those signs as cystic acne and a fever blister, I had my husband plug my Clear Rayz in beside the bed and restarted my therapy. I used it most days, but was not consistent because I felt like I had a sand spur trapped in my body. So my point....just look at my skin. I am in week 5 and I am seeing the best improvement to date. My hyper pigmentation is almost gone and I had NO breakouts or fever blisters during my illness. I am so pleased with the progress of my skin. "What causes acne to form on my skin?"

Acne flourishes when hormonal changes tell the skin to release more sebum from the sebaceous glands in the hair follicles on the face and skin. This hormonal change typically occurs at puberty in boys and girls but also persists into adulthood with many men and women. Women are also susceptible to these hormonal changes in their menstruation cycle. The release of additional sebum, which keeps the skin supple, also provides more sustenance for the acne bacteria, which feed on it. When bacteria gets into the pores, the additional numbers lead the body to respond by attacking the bacteria. The walls of the pore can become damaged and pustules form. This action and reaction in the pores can result in blackheads, whiteheads, pustules, and bumps beneath the skin.

"So this is week 2....While I have a couple of new break-outs, it is very mild considering what I put my skin through over the weekend. Starting on Thursday and ending Sunday, I was outdoors running in several marathons all weekend, which meant I was constantly applying sunblock. Normally, after using sunblock and working up a sweat, I breakout terribly. This breakout was very mild and I was relieved. Overall I am amazed when I look back to my photos from 2 weeks ago. My overall skin tone is evening out, my breakouts are much less severe and my pores are getting smaller. My hyperpigmentation has also started breaking up and getting lighter. "This week I began to use the red light and I truly saw a difference between now and last sunday. I noticed a difference of clarity in my skin, but when I used the blue light, I didn't see any noticeable difference of my current breakout. I was happy about my results this week. I know these treatments take time, but doing this light routine combined with your normal cleansing routine will make an impact, but as I said, I still have yet to see any major improvements. "This is the end of week one with Clear Rayz. I knew my face was healing, but didn't realize how much better it looked until I saw my pics side by side. I did the blue light 5 days in a row and have now gone back to the regular schedule.  While I still keep getting new pimples, I do feel that things are starting to clear up overall and that the ones that do crop up aren't terribly deep. As far as side effects, I haven't really noticed any other than when I use the device on my chest and back it tends to feel harder on that skin compared to my face.  I am assuming that my face may be more accustomed to the decades of topical medicine abuse and that it is overall tougher.  ;) I look forward to seeing what kind of results this  upcoming week brings.
